Overview

Speedlink Hi-Tech Solutions originally built and operated its Fibre To The Home (FTTH) platform solely for its own subscribers. The system handled customer onboarding, plan management, billing, and support for Speedlink’s FTTH clients effectively. Speedlink continues to onboard and serve its own FTTH customers on the same platform, proving the system at scale while opening it to external operators.

Problem Statement

As demand for reliable fibre connectivity grew across areas in Port-Harcourt and parts of Nigeria, it became clear that many other ISPs faced identical operational challenges. These included:
  • Fragmented tools for billing, network monitoring, and customer management.
  • No ready-made platforms available for ISPs to use under their own unique business identity.
  • High-cost routes to market, requiring new and existing ISPs to build core management systems entirely from scratch.

Proffered Solution

What was needed was a multi-tenant upgrade that would allow other Internet Service Providers to run their own fibre businesses on the same vast infrastructure while Speedlink (under the subsidiary of Speedlink Connect and Infrastructure Limited, alias Konnect) continued as the primary operator.
We evolved the Fibre To The Home platform into a fully multi-tenant system. Other ISPs can now sign up as tenants and operate under their own brand, with a faster, lower-cost route to market. The multi-tenant version is currently in its final rollout phase and will launch soon.
